my husband redid my whole computer last night as far as the operating system. he had me transfer all of my music and stuff to his external hard drive. then i crashed back out, and when i woke up, my laptop had a new 120 GB hard drive in it! four years ago when my father bought this system from dell for me, it had a 30 gb drive in it. then 3 years later, my husband upgraded it to a 60 GB hard drive, and now a 120 GB. now i have 4 times the storage space than i had when i first got this laptop! woohoo!
what ever is next, a 240 gig?
that would be sweet actually.
they make 300 gig lappy hd's.
that is so cool.
What do you need all that space for. I can barely fill 10 gigs let alone 300.
I have a 500!
do you don't. that's impossible and expensive.
I mean no.
Unless you are looking at the processor or something.
Yes I do, I pade 250!
Ok here's how you find out how many gig.
Go to my computer, and don't click on it but highlight local disc. Then hit alt enter for properties and vertualize the screen with control insert w and read the information there. At least that's how i found out about my computer.
Little Jeannie it is and external drive. I know what it is because I picked it up myself.
Oh you should've just said so. lol.
Jesus jesus jesus.
well i want to digitize my old cassette collection. alot of the songs on the first ones that i recorded sound really bad because i held a mic up to the computer speakers to record them. then i used a line in line out cord to record directly from the comp to my cassette recorder a few weeks later. still really bad quality. but when i used a cord with 2 male RCA connecters on one end and a 1/8 end on the other end, hooked it from my stereo to my computer, put the stereo on auxillary and put my favorite over seas station on my comp and pressed record on my stereo, my sound quality dilema was over. it sounded perfect. i know that transferring them to the hard drive will not improve the sound quality on the first ones though. i just want to get rid of all these cassettes lol. we need more closet space and they r taking up some of it.
